Terms of Service

Last updated 14 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and CCode (“we”, “us”) for using ccode.si, app.ccode.si, the CCode API at api.ccode.si and the CCode program (together, “the Service”). By creating an account, using an API key or paying for a plan, you agree to them. The Privacy Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy are part of these terms.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 13. If you’re under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and make any payments.
  • If you sign up for a company or other organisation, you confirm you may bind it to these terms; “you” then means the organisation.
  • Use an email address you can receive mail at, and keep your password and sign-in methods safe. You’re responsible for everything done through your account and its API keys.
  • The Free plan needs a GitHub account. Each GitHub account can be connected to one CCode account.
  • If you think someone else has access to your account or keys, tell us at support@ccode.si.

2. The Service

  • CCode gives you API access to AI models made by other companies, such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Z.ai and DeepSeek. Requests run through our gateway and third-party infrastructure; we decide how they’re routed and may change that at any time.
  • The models we offer, their versions, context sizes, speed and features can change. Models can be added, changed or removed, sometimes at short notice when a model maker or an infrastructure partner changes theirs. When a change matters to you, we’ll say so on ccode.si or in your account.
  • We work to keep the Service available, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Maintenance, outages at model makers or partners, and limits that protect the Service can interrupt it.
  • We aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by the model makers. Model names are trademarks of their owners.

3. AI output

  • Answers come from AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete or insecure, and other people may get similar answers. Check output, especially code, before you rely on it or run it. You’re responsible for how you use it.
  • Don’t use output as the only basis for decisions with legal, medical, financial or similarly significant effects on people.

4. API keys

  • API keys are secrets. Keep them out of public code and don’t share them outside your account (see the Acceptable Use Policy).
  • Usage made with your keys is charged to your account, even if a key has leaked. Revoke a key in your account as soon as you think it’s exposed.
  • We store keys only in hashed form, so a key can’t be shown again after it’s created.
  • We may revoke or limit a key that has leaked, is being abused or puts the Service at risk.

5. Plans, credits and limits

  • Credits are an amount in US dollars that your requests draw from. Each request is charged by the tokens it uses, at the price for its model on our Pricing page at the time of the request. When a model doesn’t report its token counts, we estimate them.
  • Free plan. Accounts connected to GitHub get free credits every 30 days. We may change or end the Free plan at any time.
  • Paid plans (Starter and Pro). Each payment buys 30 days of the plan and its credits. Plans don’t renew automatically: when the 30 days are over, the plan ends unless you’ve bought another period. Plan credits not used by the end of the period expire.
  • Buying the plan you already have adds 30 days and its credits.
  • Buying a higher plan starts it straight away for 30 days. Credits left from your earlier plan stay usable until the new period ends.
  • A lower plan can only be bought once a higher one has ended. If a payment for a lower plan arrives while a higher plan is active, we add its credits as top-up credits.
  • Top-ups are available while you have an active paid plan, from $5 to $1,000 each. Top-up credits don’t expire when your plan ends: they stay in your balance while your account is open. Plan credits are used before top-up credits.
  • Limits. Each plan limits spending per 5 hours, per week and per 30 days, may cap monthly spending on some models (for example Claude models), and limits requests per minute and requests at once, as shown on the Plans page in your account. These limits are part of what a plan includes. There are also daily limits on payments.
  • Credits have no cash value. They can’t be transferred, sold or exchanged, and they’re refunded only as the Refund & Cancellation Policy says.
  • Our usage records determine what each request cost. If you think a charge is wrong, tell us within 30 days and we’ll look into it.

6. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in US dollars and are the full amount you pay. They’re shown on the Plans page and on each invoice. We may change prices and plans for future purchases; a change never affects a period you’ve already paid for.
  • You pay in USDT on the TRON (TRC20) or BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network, through our payment provider NOWPayments, whose terms also apply to the payment.
  • An invoice stays open for 15 minutes. Send the exact amount it shows, on the network you picked. Credits are added once the network confirms the payment. A full payment that arrives after the invoice has expired is still applied.
  • Payments in another coin or on another network, or of a different amount, aren’t applied automatically and may be lost. The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains what we can do.
  • Purchases are final once their credits are in your account. Apart from payment problems, we give refunds only when we fail to provide the Service, as the Refund & Cancellation Policy explains.
  • Blockchain payments can’t be reversed by us or by you: a refund is a new transfer. Fees your wallet or exchange charges are yours to pay.

7. Your content

  • You keep your rights in what you send (prompts, code, files) and, as far as the law and the model makers’ terms allow, in the output you receive. We claim no ownership of either.
  • You allow us to process your content only to run the Service: to pass your requests to the models, return the answers and keep the Service secure. We don’t use your content to train models and we don’t sell it. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.
  • You confirm that you have the right to send what you send, and that doing so doesn’t break the law or anyone’s rights.

8. The CCode program

The CCode program (the ccode command and the @ccode-si/cli package) is free to install and is licensed under the CCode licence that comes with it. You can use it with CCode API keys or with other providers you configure; their terms apply when you use them.

9. Suspension and closing

  • You can stop using the Service at any time. To close your account, email support@ccode.si from your account’s email address.
  • We may suspend or limit your account or keys, without notice when needed, if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if your use puts the Service, other users or our partners at risk, if a payment is fraudulent, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem.
  • If we close your account because you seriously or repeatedly broke these terms, unused credits aren’t refunded, except where the law says otherwise.
  • If we stop offering the Service, we’ll tell you at least 30 days in advance and refund the unused part of what you’ve prepaid, as the Refund & Cancellation Policy explains.

10. No other promises

Apart from what these terms say, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no other promises, for example that it will meet your needs or that output will be accurate. If you’re a consumer, you keep the rights the law gives you; these terms don’t limit them.

11. Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability the law doesn’t allow to be limited.
  • Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business. Our total liability for all claims about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim, and $50.
  • We aren’t responsible for what the output says, for how you use it, or for losses caused by outages at model makers, infrastructure partners or blockchains that we can’t control.
  • If you use the Service for a business, you’ll cover our losses and costs from claims caused by your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or by content you send.

12. Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms. For changes that matter to you, we’ll tell you by email or in your account at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons.
  • If you don’t accept a change, stop using the Service and close your account before the change takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, the new terms apply.

13. Law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the law of the country where CCode is established. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
  • Before going to court, please write to support@ccode.si: most problems can be solved quickly.

14. General

  • If part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest stays in force.
  • If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we don’t lose it.
  • You may not transfer your account or these terms without our consent. We may transfer them to whoever takes over the Service, and we’ll tell you if we do.
